A Comparison of Two Newspaper Articles In this coursework 'B' I would be comparing two news articles from two different sources. This coursework will be divided into three parts. Although more recently many people get news in more similar mediums such as on the Internet because of the decline of newspapers.In this sense, writing an essay comparing two articles is a complicated assignment which requires good preparation and knowledge about the articles in question. Do not think that to describe or compare the articles is enough.
Sources to be Used. In any case, writing about things to compare and contrast is an activity which requires your full attention and creativity. But when you have to compare things objectively, you should operate facts. Just like an argumentative essay, your text will need corresponding evidence.For example, compare these two articles, or two characters in a novel, or a film and a novel or an article and a poem. The possibilities are endless. When you are faced with the task of having to compare and contrast, it can be overwhelming.
For your assignment this week, find two articles that address the same issue produced by two different news sources (this cannot be the same AP story published by different sources). In 1-2 pages, provide a summary of what message each writer is trying to get across, and provide a brief compare and contrast analysis of the two pieces.
